Air Conditioning Engineer - Expires 30/11/2023

Air Conditioning & Air Source Heat Pump Engineer

WEMCO are the leading facilities management company in the South West, and due to our continuing growth, we are looking for a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team.

We are a reliable, dynamic and personable company having built our reputation on outstanding customer focused service.

 

The role:

·       Carry out routine PPM tasks and reactive works in commercial and industrial properties.

·       Responding to reactive call outs and fault-finding on air conditioning units and air source heat pumps.

·       Installation of new plant and equipment.

·       Participate in an out of hours stand by rota.(Approx 1 in 12 weeks)

 

About you:

·       You will hold the relevant air conditioning qualifications (FGAS Category 1)

·       Have experience of working in a commercial, field-based role.

·       Have a proactive approach to problem solving and a can-do attitude.

·       Have great communication skills to deal with end users and colleagues alike.

 

The perks:

·       Generous salary and overtime at enhanced rates.(£38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience)

·       30 days holiday, plus an extra day for every 5years of service.

·       Company van and fuel card.

·       Tablet and phone as standard – using industry leading software.

·       “On call” retainer paid at industry rate.

·       Training provided and maintained at no cost to you.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30, although some flexibility will be required at times.

An enhanced DBS check will be required due to the nature of our customers.

The role:

·       Responding to reactive call outs and fault finding on boilers and heating systems.

·       Installation of new plant and equipment.

About you:

·       You will hold the relevant Commercial Gas Safequalifications, certifications and tickets

(Level 3 C&G/NVQ, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1,ICAE1, ICPN1 and TPC1A)

·       Have experience of working in a commercial,field-based role.

·       Have a proactive approach to problem solving anda can-do attitude.

·       Have great communication skills to deal with endusers and colleagues alike.

The role:

·       Responding to reactive call outs and fault-finding on domestic hot and cold water systems.

·       Installation of new plant and equipment.

·       Participate in an out of hours stand by rota.(Approx 1 in 12 weeks)

 

About you:

·       You will have Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing.

·       Have experience of working in a commercial, field-based role.

·       Have a proactive approach to problem solving and a can-do attitude.

·       Have great communication skills to deal with endusers and colleagues alike.

·       Generous salary and overtime at enhanced rates.(£30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience)

·       30 days holiday, plus an extra day for every 5years of service.

·       Company van and fuel card.

Knowledge of ACOPS L8 and Legionella monitoring would be advantageous, although full training will be given.
